Doing the Newspaper Crossword in Palm Springs
Newly retired, my husband Rudy and I recently moved to Palm Springs. It has been a big change for us, but luckily I can still do my crossword puzzle by the pool. When we lived in Michigan we only got the crossword puzzle on Sundays, and it was the highlight of my week.It took a while for us to decide on a Palm Springs Newspaper, but I am glad we finally chose the LA Times. Now I can wear my favorite hat (from our Maui vacation in 1992) and do the crossword puzzle every day. My husband doesn’t enjoy the crossword puzzle as much as I do, but he sure is a big fan of international news. He was in the war and keeps up with foreign affairs for his discussions with the other members of the local Key club. Rudy and I have been members of the Key club for years now. In fact, my friend Charlotte is a member of Key Club too, and suggested the LA Times Newspaper to us. What a small world!
